Sigiriya is the most interesting place I have visited. It is a rock fortress built by king Kashyapa. he wanted to protect  him self from his enemies and built his castle on the top of a rock. It looks like a giant rock. when you go up you can see a place where it look like a lions head with his two large paws.

It is very hard to climb the rock. There are some places where you can feel that you are going to blow yourself away by the wind. you feel really scared then. The top part of the climb is very difficult. There is strong wind also. On the why, there are many interesting places to visit. The mirror wall is a unique creation. There are old writings on it. The Sigiri frescoes are also very beautiful. Some of them are destroyed, but you can still see how artistic our ancient people are.

When you go up there are ruins of a palace court. They are also very creative. There are some ponds also. You can see a vast area from the top of the rock. Thera are trees all around. Although it is difficult to climb, when you reach the top you feel very happy because of its beauty. So this is the most interesting place I have ever visited.
